The employee mentality has been crammed down our throats our whole lives.
Get a job, stay working it forever in the hopes you get a pension. I can’t start my own business…who will pay me? Starting my own business is too risky. And it goes on and on.
If you love your job and are comfortable with it then by all means stay with it.
If you would like to start your own business then we need to talk.
One of the biggest deterrents to starting up is the uncertainty. How long will it take to make money? What will be my start up costs?
All very valid concerns for sure.
We were given excellent advice about monetary concerns.
“Make sure you keep enough income coming in during start up that all your bills can be paid.”
If that means keeping your traditional job for awhile then do so. Don’t make this harder than it has to be.
Also, don’t allow your traditional job to keep you hostage if that’s not what you want.
Here’s something to think about that might change your working thought process about owning your own business.
If you are hired to work a job and you don’t show up to work or you show up but do nothing will they pay you or even keep you around? NO
So if you start your own business and do nothing with it and sleep all day will it be profitable and viable. Again NO
The amount of effort you put in will equal what comes back to you. Capeesh?
